Although not situated on the largest piece of land, Applegrove does an incredible job of the usable space. Andy and the team have provided yet another beautiful garden design that is completely bespoke and unique to the client.

The shoot included both photographic and video coverage of the exterior of the property - a perfect excuse to get the fire roaring.

It might seem obvious, but one of the key elements in any shoot like this is to make sure that the garden is looking at its best. Andy and the team were diligent in preparing the garden for the shoot - cutting the grass, tidying the beds, cleaning slabs and trimming back some of the bushes.

One thing however that can't be prepared is how established the flowers will be on a certain day. We tried to plan according to the seasons and local weather to get the perfect time for the shoot to show the garden at it's best. But as it turns out, this is no mean feat. Although mostly there, a few of the plants were hiding on the day of the shoot.

To top it all off, a sea mist decided to join us for the second half of the shoot. I guess this is a great example of the true weather of the South Coast of England.
